Packfleet announces Who Gives a Crap as new client

The bottom line: Who Gives A Crap loo roll brand opts for electric delivery

Loo roll brand Who Gives A Crap has partnered with fellow B Corp company Packfleet for electric delivery.

The electric-powered courier Packfleet will deliver all orders for its new partner within the M25, with consumers receiving free delivery for orders over £20.

In addition to electric delivery, a further potential sustainability play comes in the form of Packfleet’s live map tracking, which allows consumers the opportunity to change the time their parcel arrives and the address it is delivered to on the delivery day itself thus avoiding wasted journeys.

Indeed, Packfleet claimed its delivery failure rate currently stands at 0.07%, which is well above industry averages.

Packfleet said it is also focused on raising delivery driver employment standards in logistics. It is a Real Living Wage employer and pays its drivers 30% higher than the industry average, while also offering them private healthcare and pensions.

Emily Kraftman, managing director for the UK & Europe at Who Gives A Crap, which makes its product from bamboo and recycled paper, and donates 50% of profits to help build toilets for those in need, said: “Delighting our customers is a really central part to the Who Gives A Crap brand, and we’re excited to be working with Packfleet to deliver that at every last touchpoint.”

Tristan Thomas, CEO & co-founder of Packfleet, added: “Who Gives A Crap is doing great work for the planet, and for the everyday toilet experience. Their commitment to providing toilets to those in need is admirable, and we knew we had to work with them.

“Whilst we can’t guarantee delivery to the bathroom door if you’re in a pinch, we’re as dedicated to providing high-quality delivery as Who Gives A Crap is to toilet paper. The customer interaction is the most important bit for repeat business, and our merchants trust us with the final part of their sale.”
