The online second-hand market is a big part of the preloved revolution

‘Timeless’: Temperley London second-hand site goes live

A Temperley London second-hand site has launched and is supported by resale platform provider Faume.

The British luxury brand said in a statement on LinkedIn that the Temperley London second-hand offered “a trusted way to resell”, adding the products on the dedicated website selling preloved luxury items were “quality assured”.

Temperley London garments “should be cherished, repaired, and handed on”, the statement added.

Alice Temperley, founder & creative director at Temperley London, remarked: “I’ve always wanted to create clothes that last a lifetime.

“Launching Temperley Vintage feels like a natural extension of the brand, allowing the Temperley London community to give their items a second life, and for others to find that archive piece they have always been looking for.”

Faume’s white labelled technology is used as the mechanism for brands such as Hugo Boss and the Kooples to run their resale platforms. The tech company says on its website brands typically adopt one or more of its capabilities, which include resale, omnichannel buyback, in-store sales, and marketplace.

Green Retail World caught up with the Faume team at the Retail Technology Show in London today (3 April). The France-based business is set to open a UK office later this month as it targets further growth in the country.
