Events business Nineteen Group has announced the launch of Retail Technology Show, which will run for the first time between 26-27 April 2022.
The exhibition and conference at London’s Olympia venue will bring together a diverse range of suppliers showcasing the latest retail technology. The free-to-attend trade show will also involve a two-day conference programme focusing on all things retail.
In addition to providing exhibition and demonstration space for technology and software providers, the event will offer a platform for industry luminaries to take to the stage and discuss the burning issues shaping their sector.
From operational challenges, to customer engagement strategies, margin protection, and sustainability efforts, retail leaders and commentators are expected to shine a light on the key challenges faced by retail businesses. Networking opportunities and one-to-one meetings will be facilitated, as the industry gets its chance to meet in person again following a period of postponed shows and events due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Green Retail World is pleased to be an official media partner of Retail Technology Show, and will look to monitor all the innovations and talking points at the event related to the industry’s green agenda. More details of this title’s media partnership will be unveiled in due course.
Retail Technology Show has been launched by the team behind Retail Business Technology Expo, which was later rebranded to RetailExpo and ran for the last time in 2019.
Matt Bradley, one of the founding members of RBTE in 2011, has joined Nineteen as event director and will be the driving force behind the new trade show.
Several members of the original RBTE team are involved in the new retail technology event, including co-founder Nick Field, who will sit on the expo’s advisory board alongside 15 industry experts, retail leaders and influencers.
Bradley said: “Retail has irreversibly changed at an evolutionary pace no-one could have predicted – and with that change comes both new challenges and emerging opportunities to build back better.
“Retail Technology Show will help retailers navigate the new landscape in which they now operate, allowing them to build a roadmap to success, underpinned and accelerated by the very best technology and innovation.”
